According to local sources, the latest attacks occurred on Sunday and targeted multiple areas within the Gaza Strip. The bombardment of an apartment building on Al-Hoja Street in the Jabalia camp, located in northern Gaza, resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to 19 others.

In another strike, Israeli forces targeted a residential house in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, killing four Palestinians and injuring at least six more.

These recent escalations follow a period of heightened conflict that began with the Palestinian resistance groups' Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against Israeli positions on October 7, 2023. A brief ceasefire, which allowed for prisoner exchanges, lasted seven days but was ultimately broken on December 1, 2023, leading to the resumption of Israeli attacks.
