Israeli airstrike on Nabatieh city in Lebanon kills 10, including children
An Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the city of Nabatieh, located in southern Lebanon, has left at least 10 people dead, including children and women, Lebanon's state news agency (NNA) reported on Saturday.
The NNA reported that the airstrike targeted a civilian residential building, rejecting Israeli claims that the building was a military facility associated with Hezbollah.
In retaliation, Hezbollah announced that it had launched dozens of missiles at Israeli sites.
The attack on Nabatieh comes amid a series of Israeli aerial strikes on southern Lebanon over the past hours. In one of these strikes, a Hezbollah-affiliated individual was reportedly killed.
The situation remains tense as both sides continue to exchange fire, further escalating the conflict in the region. (ILKHA)
