Sacrificial meat from Türkiye reaches Gaza, says President of Religious Affairs
The President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, announced on Friday that the sacrificial meat entrusted by donors to the Turkish Diyanet Foundation during Eid al-Adha in June, has successfully reached Gaza after being delivered to Al-Quds and the West Bank.
In a statement on X, President Erbaş stated that they would stand with Palestine with their hands, words and hearts.
“As the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Turkish Diyanet Foundation, we are proud to deliver the sacrificial meat entrusted by our nation to the oppressed people of Gaza,” wrote Erbaş, reminding that Gazan people have been struggling under the attacks of genocidal occupiers.
The meat, which was slaughtered and packaged during the Eid al-Adha and stored in cold storage facilities in Egypt, has now been transported to Gaza in refrigerated trucks.
Ali Erbaş concluded his post saying: “Alhamdulillah, the sacrificial offerings entrusted to the Turkish Diyanet Foundation by our generous donors have reached Gaza following their delivery to Jerusalem and the West Bank. May Allah accept these sacrifices.” (ILKHA)
