Four PKK militants killed in northern Iraq
The Turkish Ministry of Defense has announced that four members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in northern Iraq.
The militants were detected and neutralized in the Operation Claw-Lock area, according to a statement released by the Ministry on Sunday.
The Ministry emphasized that operations against the PKK in the region will continue as part of Türkiye's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in northern Iraq.
Operation Claw-Lock is part of a broader campaign by Turkish forces targeting PKK militants, whom Türkiye considers a terrorist organization.
The operation is aimed at securing Türkiye’s borders and eliminating threats posed by the PKK, which has bases in the mountainous regions of northern Iraq. (ILKHA)
