In one of the deadliest attacks, four members of the Mattar family were killed, and others wounded when Israeli forces bombed their house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Local sources confirmed that the bodies of the deceased were recovered from the rubble, and the injured were transported to Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa Hospitals for treatment.

Another Israeli strike on the Maghazi refugee camp, also in central Gaza, claimed the lives of two more individuals, with several others reported injured. The violence continued in the southern Gaza Strip, where emergency teams recovered the bodies of two victims, including a child, from the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis. A young man was also reportedly killed by Israeli snipers in the same area.

In northern Gaza, an airstrike hit a house east of the Jabalia refugee camp, resulting in injuries to 18 people, including children. The assault follows a series of airstrikes on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, coinciding with new evacuation orders issued by the Israeli military for several neighborhoods in the city.

The ongoing Israeli military campaign, which began on October 7, 2023, has led to 39,699 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, and 91,722 injuries. Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them due to the continuous Israeli attacks.

The escalating violence has drawn international condemnation and raised concerns about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The blockade on Gaza, coupled with relentless airstrikes, has crippled infrastructure, leaving thousands of civilians without access to essential services, including medical care, food, and clean water.

Human rights organizations have repeatedly called for an immediate ceasefire and the lifting of the blockade to allow humanitarian aid to reach the affected populations. Despite these calls, the situation in Gaza remains dire, with no end in sight to the ongoing violence.

As the conflict enters its 308th day, the international community continues to grapple with how to address the escalating crisis and protect the lives of innocent civilians intentionally targeted by Israeli forces. (ILKHA)
