Speaking to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Bagheri Kani warned that this action would have severe repercussions for Israel, emphasizing that the Israeli regime lacks the "capacity nor strength" to engage in any conflict with Iran.

Bagheri Kani's comments came shortly after his participation in an extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), where member states unanimously condemned Haniyeh's assassination in northern Tehran. He highlighted the growing support from OIC members for Iran's right to respond to the Israeli aggression, stressing that those he spoke with, both in person and over the phone, affirmed Iran's right to retaliate.

Criticizing Western nations that have urged Iran to restrain its response, Bagheri Kani stated that these countries are not in a position to advise Iran. He questioned the actions of countries that maintain economic and diplomatic ties with Israel, which he accused of being complicit in Israel's crimes.

"The countries who are providing arms and equipment, and those who have economic and diplomatic ties with the Zionist regime, need to answer why this situation is continuing," Bagheri Kani asserted, underscoring the international responsibility in addressing Israel's war crimes. (ILKHA)
