Israeli forces kidnap 26 Palestinians in West Bank raids
Israeli occupation forces have kidnaped at least 26 Palestinians in a series of raids conducted across the West Bank from last night until this morning, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).
The PPS stated that among those arrested were siblings and former prisoners. This latest wave of detentions raises the total number of Palestinians arrested in the occupied West Bank since October of last year to over 10,000.
The report highlighted a surge in both the number of detainees and the atrocities associated with these operations. During the raids, families of detainees often experience home invasions that result in widespread destruction and vandalism.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society emphasized the increasing severity of these actions, drawing attention to the human rights violations occurring during these operations. The ongoing detentions and associated violence have escalated tensions in the already volatile region. (ILKHA)
