This submission was made in response to a request by the ICC Prosecutor's Office for arrest warrants against Israel's Prime Minister and Defense Minister, based on accusations of serious international crimes that threaten global peace and security.

In its detailed presentation, Palestine emphasized that any attempts to politicize the court or undermine its legal jurisdiction would effectively deny justice to the Palestinian people. The arguments laid out by Palestine highlighted that the crimes committed by Israeli officials, including high-ranking government figures, are systematic and widespread, carried out under official government policies. These actions occur amidst a prevailing climate of impunity and a lack of accountability.

Palestine's submission underscored that its accession to the Rome Statute was a strategic move aimed at garnering judicial support and assistance in achieving justice for the international crimes committed in Palestinian territories by Israeli leaders and citizens. It pointed to the persistent failure of Israeli occupation authorities to investigate and prosecute these crimes, demonstrating a clear lack of willingness to address the violations.

Despite efforts by some parties to politicize the ICC's work, Palestine expressed confidence that the Pre-Trial Chamber would base its decision on the principles enshrined in the Rome Statute and international accountability standards. It warned that such interference could lead to a scenario where political ambitions overshadow the rule of law and justice, thereby hindering the international community's commitment to accountability.

This submission marks a pivotal moment in Palestine's ongoing struggle for justice, with the international community closely watching the ICC's forthcoming decision. The outcome holds significant implications for international law and the pursuit of justice in conflict zones worldwide. (ILKHA)
