Hezbollah retaliates against Israeli forces in Golan Heights
Lebanon’s Hezbollah Movement has announced that it conducted an operation against Israeli forces in the Golan Heights in response to the martyrdom of seven of its members during Israeli raids on Mayfadun and Adaysseh.
In a statement released on its Telegram channel, Hezbollah detailed the attack, saying: "Islamic Resistance combatants fired dozens of Katyusha projectiles at the enemy air defense headquarters near Kalia in the Golan Heights and at army barracks."
Earlier, Hezbollah confirmed that four field commanders were martyred in an Israeli attack on Mayfadun near Nabatiyeh, and three more were martyred in a raid on the Adaysseh area.
Since early October, the Lebanese Resistance movement has been conducting regular attacks against Israeli military positions. These operations are in retaliation for the Israeli regime's offensives against Gaza and southern Lebanon.
The current escalation began on October 7 when Israel launched a brutal war on Gaza. This followed an unprecedented operation by Hamas against Israel, which Hamas stated was in retaliation for Israel's intensified actions against the Palestinian people.
Israel has since imposed a complete siege on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to over two million residents in the densely populated territory. (ILKHA)
