Türkiye issues travel warning for Lebanon
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory urging its citizens to avoid non-essential trips to Lebanon due to escalating tensions in the region.
In a statement released today, the ministry expressed concerns over the potential for a rapid deterioration of the security situation in Lebanon.
Turkish nationals already in the country have been advised to exercise extreme caution and avoid travel to specific regions, including Nabatiyeh, South Lebanon, Bekaa, and Baalbek-Hermel provinces.
The ministry strongly recommends that Turkish citizens currently residing in Lebanon consider departing the country while commercial flight options remain available.
To stay updated on the situation, the ministry encourages citizens to follow official announcements and social media channels of the Turkish Embassy in Beirut. (ILKHA)
