Three killed in small plane crash in southeast Brazil
A small plane crashed in the municipality of Birigui, located in the southeastern Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, resulting in the deaths of three people on Saturday.
According to the local fire department, the aircraft went down on a farm at kilometer 5 of the Senador Teotonio Vilela highway, approximately 521 kilometers from the city of Sao Paulo.
The plane erupted into flames upon impact, and the three occupants were found dead at the scene. The fire department reported that the bodies were charred beyond recognition.
Firefighters and police officers responded promptly to the incident, extinguishing the fire and securing the crash site.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash. (ILKHA)
