Gaza Strip faces deadly assaults on 301st day of genocide: Multiple casualties reported
A series of airstrikes and artillery shelling by Israeli occupation forces led to multiple fatalities and injuries across various regions of the Gaza Strip early this morning.
According to local sources, the violence began with an airstrike on a home in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, which resulted in the death of a young girl and injuries to four others. The injured were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.
In another incident, rescue teams retrieved the bodies of four individuals and provided medical treatment to 12 others from an apartment in the Abu Hashim building on Jalaa Street, also in Gaza City. This apartment had been hit by Israeli airstrikes.
Intense bombardments were reported around Street 8 and the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City. Additionally, a fire broke out in agricultural land following an attack near the Abu Aida roundabout.
Further airstrikes targeted residences belonging to the Saad family north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza and the Abu Jazar family home in the Ma'an area, east of Khan Younis. These attacks resulted in seven injuries.
In Khan Younis, a woman was killed and others were injured when Israeli forces struck a residence belonging to the al-Agha family in the al-Satar al-Gharbi area. The injured were taken to the Nasser Medical Complex.
Additional shelling was reported in the western part of Rafah, southern Gaza, and in the eastern areas of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
Last night, Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians at the Shujaiya intersection in eastern Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to several others.
The latest round of airstrikes and shelling underscores the ongoing severity of the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, with continued casualties and widespread damage affecting numerous areas across the region. (ILKHA)
