The march began at Mimar Sinan Park and proceeded to Yeni Pınar Mosque, where a press statement was read by a child named Harun Dost on behalf of the platform.

Addressing the crowd gathered after Isha prayers, Dost said, “We gathered here today because of the genocide that has been going on in Gaza since October 7.”

"Children are aware, victory is near"

Dost highlighted the tragic impact of the conflict on children in Gaza, saying, “Approximately 50 thousand people have been martyred so far. About 16 thousand of them are children. There are 100 thousand wounded. And these numbers continue to increase every hour. So even as we are making this statement here, these numbers continue to increase.”

He stated: “We are here as children, not to play games, but to disrupt the game. While our hands hold pencils and books, the hands of Gazan children hold the dismembered bodies of their parents. We are here so that the parents of Turkey can support the children of Gaza, and their children can support them. Today from here we say, children are aware, victory is near.”

"We do not want the bases of America, the protector of Israel, in Turkey"

Dost called for the closure of US bases in Turkey, stating, “O my elders, O my rulers; we as a country cannot be a partner in this shame. If it were your children living there, wouldn't you do your best? Would you calculate while children were dying? Look, even we children are shouting: Children are in the square, victory is near!”

He continued: “Now it is time to ‘play’: In this game, when we shop, our money will never go to the oppressors. In this game, America, which loves Israel so much, will give it a place in its own garden to ‘play’. In this game, all the children of the Ummah will play freely in the garden of Al-Aqsa Mosque. In this game, there is no game, there is to break the game. Now we children cry out and say: We have come not to play, but to disrupt.”

The event concluded with children singing melodies, performing a Palestinian dance show, and offering prayers. (ILKHA)
