31 migrants rescued off Balıkesir coast after engine failure
Turkish Coast Guard teams rescued 31 irregular migrants from a rubber boat that became disabled due to engine failure on Friday.
The migrants were found drifting off the coast of Ayvalık district. The rescue operation was conducted by the Turkish Coast Guard Command teams, who successfully brought all 31 migrants to safety.
Following the rescue, the migrants were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing and assistance.
