Palestinian youth killed in clashes with Israeli forces in Bireh
Tensions escalated early Tuesday as clashes between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Bireh resulted in the death of a young man.
Ahmed Sultan, 20 years old, was martyred during confrontations in the al-Balou neighborhood of Bireh City, according to local sources. Reports indicated that Israeli soldiers detained Sultan's body for several hours before eventually handing it over to ambulance crews, who transferred him to Palestine Hospital.
Eyewitnesses, however, recounted a different version of events to the hospital director, stating that Israeli forces took Sultan to the illegal settlement of Beit El where he was fatally shot in the chest and abdomen.
The clashes erupted after Israeli forces conducted raids on exchange stores in the city, sparking confrontations with local youths. Sultan, originally from Gaza but residing with his family in Bireh, became a tragic casualty amid the escalating violence in the region.
The incident has intensified tensions in Bireh and sparked renewed calls for justice from Palestinian authorities and international observers amidst ongoing conflict dynamics in the West Bank. (ILKHA)
