Türkiye slams Israeli minister's 'disrespectful' remarks in scathing rebuke
The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a stern rebuke in response to recent statements made by the Israeli Foreign Minister on social media, describing them as "filled with disrespect, falsehoods, and slander."
In a press release, the ministry emphasized that such remarks would not divert attention from the true issues affecting the region.
Accusing the Israeli government of perpetuating violence against innocent Palestinians to prolong its political tenure, the ministry called for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza and urged for a lasting ceasefire agreement.
"Türkiye will continue to advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people," the ministry concluded in its statement. (ILKHA)
