The event began with the recitation of the Quran by İnan Gezgin, setting a solemn tone for the gathering. Orhan Erkuş, one of the Adana Coordinators for the Prophet Lovers Foundation, read a press statement on behalf of the assembled NGOs.

The press statement opened with a verse from the Quran (Al-Imran/200), underscoring the perseverance and patience required in the face of adversity. Erkuş highlighted the relentless persecution and genocide in Gaza, lamenting that for more than nine months, efforts to deliver essential aid to the besieged population have been largely thwarted.

"Our Gaza test continues uninterruptedly," Erkuş stated. "For more than nine months of persecution and genocide, we have not even managed to deliver a morsel of bread and a drink of water to our brothers and sisters, let alone actually being with them."

Erkuş reminded the audience that their actions and protests have a significant impact, disturbing the Zionist occupiers and their supporters. He criticized the inability to unite and take stronger action against the oppressors, calling for a more cohesive and forceful response.

"We could not unite and become a sledgehammer on the head of the Zionists," he said. "We could not mobilize our administrators, opportunities, and potential. We could not watch the genocide and massacre on the screens and prevent it. We could not put forward a stance and power that would frighten and deter the Zionists."

Erkuş vowed to continue exposing and condemning Zionist brutality and genocide. "We will expose the Zionist atrocity, genocide, and their collaborators and condemn them before the whole world!" he declared, emphasizing the importance of maintaining pressure through weekly actions and persistence.

"We will never give up our just cause! We will not give way to the Zionist supporters and their extensions within us! We will not stop fighting to uproot the Zionism, which is a cancerous cancer for humanity!" he exclaimed. "We will continue to boycott those who support Zionism!"

Erkuş highlighted the growing awareness and commitment to the cause of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa among Muslims. He praised the resistance in Gaza and Palestine and called for unity among Muslims to fight against Zionism.

"Currently, there is a growing awareness that both in the world and in our country, those who realize the Zionist barbarism and danger and take a stand are increasing. We are witnessing that the awareness of Jerusalem and Aqsa has taken root and become permanent among Muslims," he said. "The sons of the ummah, sharpened with the consciousness of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, armed with the weapon of wahdat, will surely unite with our brothers in Gaza and Palestine, uproot the Zionists from the blessed land and bury Zionism in the dustbin of history."

Erkuş called for an end to the internal conflicts and fragmentation among Muslims, emphasizing that the cause of Al-Aqsa Mosque should unite them. "The rising resistance in Yemen, Lebanon, and other places is an indication of this. The Zionists, who intend to open new occupation fronts outside Palestine, will be defeated by the steel will, determination, and courage of the resistance soldiers of the united Ummah. We have no doubt about this. We are not hopeless but faithful," he said.

Erkuş also called for legislative action to strip citizenship from those participating in the Gaza massacre. He referenced a law proposal by HÜDA PAR and urged lawmakers to support it, reflecting the demands and preferences of the nation.

"Some Zionists living in our country who are also citizens of the terrorist regime are directly participating in the massacre in Gaza. It is the common demand and expectation of the sensitive and conscientious public opinion that these genocide criminals, who have the audacity to share this crime against humanity on social media, should be identified, tried, punished, and stripped of their citizenship," he said.

Erkuş concluded by calling on everyone to increase their efforts and support for the cause of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa. "Let's increase our efforts and endeavors to support the cause of Jerusalem and tighten our ranks. May Allah grant the whole Ummah to unite on the axis of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa and give strength and victory to the mujahideen in the fight against the Zionists," he prayed.

The gathering was bolstered by the presence of various organizations including the Mustazaflar Association, Hope Caravan Association, MEKTEB, and the Prophet Lovers Association. HUDA PAR Adana Provincial Chairman Salih Demir joined the solidarity movement alongside members of the provincial organization and local citizens.

The press statement concluded by expressing heartfelt appreciation to all those who unwavering support the Palestinian cause. This collective effort underscores the unwavering commitment to justice and solidarity with Gaza. (ILKHA)
