Hamas calls for global protests against Israeli massacres in Gaza
The Hamas Movement has issued a call for worldwide protests in response to what it describes as Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Hamas condemned a recent Israeli airstrike on Al-Awda School in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, which served as a shelter for displaced civilians. The attack on Tuesday resulted in the deaths of over 29 people and left many others injured.
Hamas characterized this incident as part of a broader pattern of genocidal actions and massacres perpetrated by the Israeli military against Gaza’s defenseless population. "The escalating criminal Zionist aggression against innocent civilians in the residential neighborhoods and shelter centers of the Gaza Strip confirms that the terrorist Zionist government is insistent on going on with its killing campaign and war of extermination with no regard for the consequences of its crimes,” the statement read.
The movement urged Arab, Islamic, and international communities to continue organizing rallies in support of Palestinians in Gaza and to exert pressure to halt the Israeli military campaign.
This call for global protests comes amid a series of deadly airstrikes and an escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with significant international attention and condemnation directed at the ongoing genocide. (ILKHA)
