The summit coincides with NATO's 75th anniversary and will focus on the organization's efforts in deterrence and defense amid various challenges and risks within the Alliance's geography. Discussions will also cover the situation in Ukraine and the assistance provided to the country. Combatting terrorism, a primary threat to the Alliance, will be a key agenda item.

The President of Ukraine, representatives from the European Union, and leaders from NATO's Asia-Pacific partners, including Australia, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand, will participate in the relevant sessions.

Erdoğan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with several participating heads of state and government on the sidelines of the summit. (ILKHA)
