Iran condemns silence on Israeli genocide in Gaza

In a statement on X, Kan'ani described the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza as "indescribable" and denounced the "crimes and brutality" of Israel.

He further placed blame on the United States and other supporters of Israel, stating their responsibility for the continuation of the violence.

Kan'ani emphasized that remaining silent in the face of this suffering is "far from human and moral responsibility" and condemned it "both in human and divine view."

The current escalation began when Israel launched a brutal onslaught on Gaza on October 7, following retaliatory actions by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group. The violence has resulted in the deaths of at least 37,877 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, with 86,969 others injured. (ILKHA)
