Türkiye condemns use of Kayseri incidents for provocation in northern Syria
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding the recent incidents in Kayseri, where anti-Syrian riots led to the burning of Syrian-owned shops.
The Ministry emphasized that it is inappropriate to exploit the unfortunate events in Kayseri for provocations beyond Türkiye's borders.
"It is wrong to use the sad events in Kayseri as a material for provocations beyond our borders following an offence for which our state is carrying out judicial processes,” the statement read.
The statement reiterated that the Turkish government is actively pursuing judicial proceedings related to the incident and urged against any external attempts to use the situation for incitement. (ILKHA)
