Türkiye's economic confidence index drops to 95.8 in June
The Economic Confidence Index in Turkey has decreased to 95.8 in June from 98.2 in May, reflecting a 2.5% decline, according to a statement released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Thursday.
The consumer confidence index also decreased by 2.7% to 78.3, while the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index dropped by 1.9% to 100.5.
Furthermore, the services confidence index decreased by 1.5% to 115.4, the retail trade confidence index declined by 2.6% to 108.8, and the construction confidence index decreased by 0.5% to 87.9 compared to the previous month.
These figures indicate a widespread decline in confidence across various sectors of the Turkish economy compared to the previous month. (ILKHA)
