Turkish coast guard rescues 34 migrants pushed back by Greece
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 34 irregular migrants, including 10 children, off the coast of Ayvacık district.
The migrants were found in a rubber boat that had reportedly been pushed back into Turkish waters by Greece. The Coast Guard responded to a tip and dispatched a boat, the TCSG-905, which successfully rescued all 34 people.
After completing necessary procedures, the migrants were transferred to the Foreigners Repatriation Center in Ayvacık. (ILKHA)
