Afghanistan welcomes Russia's call for comprehensive talks
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has expressed its approval of recent statements by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, advocating for more substantive, enduring, and genuine talks with the Afghan government.
In a statement, the Islamic Emirate reaffirmed its commitment as the responsible government to engage in comprehensive and result-oriented discussions on mutual concerns. This stance highlights Afghanistan's dedication to constructive dialogue aimed at effectively addressing shared issues.
The Islamic Emirate also announced to all countries, including Russia, that with the end of the occupation in Afghanistan, factors contributing to insecurity have been eliminated.
