The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, launched several operations on Saturday as Israeli forces shelled Lebanese border towns with illegal weapons.

In response to an Israeli aggression on the border town of Meis al-Jabal, Hezbollah fighters attacked a building repurposed by Israeli occupation forces for military use in the Menara settlement. Later, the Resistance announced additional attacks on buildings used by Israeli forces in the Metulla settlement following another assault on the Lebanese town of Khiam, which led to multiple fires in the settlement located on the Palestinian-Lebanese border.

Further east, Hezbollah conducted simultaneous attacks on Israeli occupation sites in Israeli-occupied Lebanese territories, including the Shebaa Farms and the Kfar Chouba Hills. At 5:15 pm local time, Resistance fighters targeted the Zibdine military site with unspecified "rocket weapons" in the occupied Shebaa Farms. Concurrently, another group attacked the al-Ramtha military site in the occupied Kfar Chouba Hills.

In retaliation, Israeli forces shelled multiple Lebanese border towns, including Kfar Kila, Khiam, al-Jibine, Aalma al-Shaab, Kfar Hamam, and Houla, using both explosive shells and illegal white phosphorus munitions. Israeli warplanes also conducted raids on Kfar Kila, Ramiyah, Khalat Wardeh, and Yaroun on Saturday.

A notable strike in the Western Bekaa targeted a vehicle in the town of Khyara, resulting in the death of Ayman Hashem Ghotma, a commander of the Islamic Group Resistance movement's Fajr Force.

The ongoing cross-border hostilities highlight the escalating tension in the region as Hezbollah continues to support Palestine against Israeli aggression, resulting in significant casualties and damage on both sides. (ILKHA)
