Turkish consumer confidence drops to 78.3 in June
The Turkish Statistical Institute announced on Thursday that the consumer confidence index for June stood at 78.3, marking a decline from 80.51 in May.
The index, derived from the consumer tendency survey conducted jointly by the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, reflects a 2.7% decrease compared to the previous month.
The survey captures sentiments regarding economic expectations, financial situation, and purchasing behavior among Turkish consumers. The drop in the consumer confidence index suggests a cautious outlook amid economic conditions in the country. (ILKHA)
