Throughout the festive period, the Foundation undertook the slaughtering and distribution of hundreds of sacrificial animals in various regions of Afghanistan. This initiative aimed to support poor, orphaned, and needy families, providing them with meticulously packaged meat parcels.

Erdal Elibüyük, Vice President of Hope Caravan Foundation, emphasized the significance of this humanitarian effort in bringing hope to disadvantaged families in Afghanistan.

"We have brought hope to the tables of the oppressed in Afghanistan," Elibüyük stated. He highlighted the distribution efforts across different provinces, including Kabul, the capital, and specifically mentioned the Aktepe village in the Kalizan district of Kunduz province.

Describing the challenges faced by communities in Aktepe village, Elibüyük reflected on decades of conflict and occupation that have left lasting scars. "Each house has a sad story," he lamented, noting the devastation of madrasas, mosques, homes, and the plight of widows and orphaned children.

Despite these hardships, Elibüyük underscored the resilience and dignity of the Afghan people, emphasizing that their struggles stem from prolonged conflict and exploitation of resources rather than laziness or indifference.

The Hope Caravan Foundation's efforts have provided a lifeline to vulnerable communities, offering not just essential food aid but also a sense of solidarity and support during challenging times in Afghanistan. (ILKHA)
