Islamic Emirate Leader Akhundzada calls for Afghan unity in Eid al-Adha address
Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, leader of the Islamic Emirate, urged all Afghans to set aside their differences and embrace unity during his Eid al-Adha prayer speech at the Eidgah Mosque in Kandahar.
In an audio message, Akhundzada emphasized the detrimental effects of discord and called for national solidarity.
In his address, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada drew a stark comparison between fostering division and the malevolent tactics of Pharaoh, asserting his intolerance for disunity among Afghans. "Brothers, accept the plague, but not disunity, because disunity is the worst disease. I do not want disunity among Afghans. If a group of people removes me, I will be happy, but I will not be happy with division among them," he stated.
Akhundzada's speech was a call to brotherhood and cohesion, emphasizing the importance of unity in maintaining the stability and progress of Afghanistan. He described the current system in Afghanistan as divine and lawful, urging the Afghan populace to support the Islamic Emirate.
Akhundzada's message comes at a time when Afghanistan faces numerous internal and external challenges, highlighting the need for a unified national front to navigate these turbulent times. (ILKHA)
