Orphans Foundation delivers aid to families in Tanzania for Eid al-Adha
Orphans Foundation officials in Tanzania have distributed various forms of aid to families in need in celebration of Eid al-Adha.
This initiative is part of the foundation's ongoing efforts to support disadvantaged communities around the world during the significant Islamic holiday.
Volunteers from the Orphans Foundation, along with officials from the European Orphan Hand Association, have been actively working in Tanzania to reach out to families in need. As part of their activities, they conducted sacrificial slaughters and distributed the meat to hundreds of families, ensuring that the joy of Eid al-Adha reaches those who need it most.
In addition to distributing sacrificial meat, the association officials provided zakat (charitable donations) and offered treats to children. These acts of charity and kindness are integral to the spirit of Eid al-Adha, which emphasizes giving and supporting those in need.
Ömer Arslan, a volunteer with the European Orphan Hand Association, commented on the efforts being made in Tanzania: "As in all oppressed geographies, our aid work continues in Tanzania. We are currently in an orphanage where Islamic education is also provided. We distributed various gifts and cash aids to these children. Africa is a geography of poverty; they need every help that people can send. As the Orphans Foundation, we strive to be with the victimized people not only during the Feast of Sacrifice but every period. Our call to our benefactors is not to skimp on their aid. Because our work can be carried out with the contributions of benefactors."
The Orphans Foundation's efforts in Tanzania are part of a broader commitment to provide continuous support to impoverished regions. The foundation urges benefactors to continue their contributions, which are crucial for sustaining these humanitarian activities.
The Orphans Foundation, in collaboration with the European Orphan Hand Association, is making a significant impact in Tanzania by providing essential aid during Eid al-Adha. Their work highlights the importance of global solidarity and the enduring need for charitable support to uplift communities in need.
The foundation's appeal for continued donations underscores the vital role of benefactors in enabling such humanitarian initiatives, ensuring that aid reaches the most vulnerable populations not only during festive periods but throughout the year. (ILKHA)
