His message coincided with the Day of Arafat, a significant occasion during the Hajj pilgrimage.

In a Telegram post, Abu Obeida called on Muslim pilgrims to remember the people of Gaza and their resistance during their prayers and rituals at the holy sites in Mecca. "We call on the pilgrims to the Sacred House of Allah to remember their brothers in Gaza and Palestine with their sincere prayers in the holy sites and during Hajj rituals and to remember Gaza and its patient people and its mujahideen in these great and blessed times," he wrote.

He reminded the Islamic Ummah that as pilgrims visit the holy sites, Palestinians and resistance fighters are performing Jihad against their enemies. Abu Obeida stated, "The Resistance in Gaza is fighting the usurping occupiers (Israelis) on behalf of the great Ummah of Islam."

Highlighting the significance of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Abu Obeida noted that the operation was launched to defend al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam's most sacred sites. He accused Israel of violating the site and attempting to Judaize the mosque and its surroundings, framing the struggle as a defense of Islamic heritage.

Abu Obeida's call for support has resonated globally, with various entities and individuals, including members of the Axis of Resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, and Syria, actively launching military operations in support of Gaza.

As the Palestinian Resistance marks its 253rd day of opposition against the Israeli occupation's actions in Gaza, Abu Obeida reiterated the importance of supporting the Palestinian cause as a humanitarian, moral, and religious duty incumbent upon all people worldwide. (ILKHA)
