The event held under the theme "Gaza, the City Without Graduates!" and the slogan "Schools Closed Early in Gaza, Humanity Failed" brought together Gazan families and children currently undergoing treatment in Ankara, alongside local families and students.

Gazan children showcased their cultural heritage through traditional dabke dance performances. Kites featuring both Turkish and Palestinian flags soared through the sky, while balloons emblazoned with Palestinian messages were released.

A photo exhibition poignantly depicted the realities of the conflict in Gaza. Banners and signs offering unwavering support for Palestine adorned the event space.

The event featured a recitation of the Holy Quran by students and presentations by İlknur Koçaytaç and Gül Nihal Özkan, exploring the themes of "What would Palestine be like for us?" and "War and children" respectively.

Guest students from Gaza shared their experiences of being children amidst war. Symbolic report cards were presented to them in a gesture of solidarity.

The event culminated in musical performances, stage activities, and evening prayers led by Professor Dr. Mehmet Emin Ay.

"This report card event was organized for the students in Gaza," stated Aziz Oğuzhan Karaman, spokesperson for the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform.

Karaman emphasized the plight of Gazan children, highlighting the fatalities exceeding 16,000 due to the Israeli conflict and the disruption of education for eight consecutive months due to school bombings.

"In Türkiye, students receive their report cards on Friday, but Gaza has seen no education throughout the year," he remarked. "This event is a call to attention regarding the ongoing massacre of children in Gaza."

The event served as a platform to showcase the ongoing struggles faced by Gazan children and families, while fostering solidarity and support for their cause. (ILKHA)
