Gaza: Hospitals, oxygen station need fuel to continue providing vital services
The Palestinian health ministry has warned that hospitals, health centers and the only oxygen station in Gaza City are at a risk of going out of service after fuel supplies have run out.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said it launched this warning as the Israeli occupation army persists in carrying out attacks on Gaza and imposing its control over the border crossings.
The ministry said that if hospitals and the oxygen station stopped providing their services, thousands of sick and wounded civilian would face certain death.
The refrigerated medications in the Gaza governorate have also become unsuitable for use due to the lack of fuel supplies needed to operate power generators used for medicine refrigerators, according to the ministry.
The ministry appealed to the international community to urgently intervene in this regard and provide Gaza with its fuel needs. (ILKHA)
