The attack targeted Israeli settlements and continued unabated for 10 straight minutes.

Simultaneously, Israeli media reported that Hezbollah fired a staggering 160-rocket barrage at northern Israel and launched a direct attack on Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, a leading military research and development company. In response to the attack, towns within a 10-kilometer radius of the Lebanese border were directed to take shelter and remain indoors.

The rocket fire, which well exceeded the 100 rockets initially reported by Israeli media, ignited fires and caused power blackouts in several northern settlements. The city of Tabarayya was targeted for the first time during this barrage, marking a significant shift in Hezbollah's strategy.

Sirens blared in Safad, Rosh Pina, and Tabarayya, along with numerous other towns in the al-Jalil region, signaling the widespread nature of the attack. Additional rounds of sirens were activated in several settler communities in northern Israel, with alerts triggered in the Mount Meron area of the Upper al-Jalil.

Local sources in South Lebanon confirmed that Israel's Meron base for air surveillance was one of the targets of the second rocket salvo launched from Lebanon.

This attack underscores the increasing intensity and scale of the conflict, as both sides continue to exchange fire in what is rapidly becoming one of the most significant escalations since the onset of the war. (ILKHA)
