At least 210 civilians killed, dozens injured in Israeli massacre in central Gaza
Over 210 Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens were injured on Saturday in large-scale Israeli strikes on an-Nuseirat refugee camp and some other areas in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The Government Media Office (GMO) said that the Israeli occupation army launched an unprecedented brutal attack on an-Nuseirat camp, bombarding scores of homes and massacring dozens of civilians, adding that many victims were lying on roads or buried under the rubble of buildings.
GMO added that the Israeli army used dozens of warplanes, drones, helicopters, and tanks in its attack on central Gaza, which reflected an premeditated intent to commit massacres against the civilians in the area.
GMO affirmed that the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital is the only medical facility in the central governorate, and now it relies on one electric generator after the other one had stopped working eight months ago.
GMO called on the international community and UN and international institutions to intervene urgently to save the hospital in order for it to be able to continue providing medical assistance for thousands of sick and wounded civilians. (ILKHA)
