At least 14 Palestinians killed in latest Israeli airstrikes on Gaza
At least 14 Palestinians were killed and several others injured early this morning in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in central and northern Gaza, local sources reported.
In the northern part of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, six civilians were killed when an Israeli strike targeted a house belonging to the Rafati family.
In another attack, five Palestinians were killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp, also located in central Gaza. Local sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes targeted a building belonging to the Nuseirat Municipality, resulting in the deaths of five people, including Nuseirat Mayor Iyad Al-Maghari.
Simultaneously, two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 36,654 confirmed Palestinian fatalities, with the majority of the victims being children and women. The number of injured has so far reached 83,309, according to local health authorities.
Local authorities continue to call for international intervention to halt the violence and protect civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip. (ILKHA)
