Gaza: Death toll surges to 36,479 martyrs
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 40 civilians and injuring over 150 others.
The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 36,479 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 82,777.
“A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been prevented by the IOF from reaching them,” the ministry underlined.
Since October 7 last year, the IOF has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, in addition to the displacement of two million people and a massive destruction of homes and infrastructure that affected more than 70% of the buildings, with a tight siege, a stifling humanitarian crisis, and an unprecedented famine, especially in northern Gaza.
