Turkish military announces killing of 16 PKK members in Iraq and Syria
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced the deaths of members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in a social media statement on Sunday.
The statement specified that airstrikes targeted the Hakurk and Metina regions of northern Iraq, eliminating 14 PKK/YPG members. Additionally, two PKK/YPG members were killed in operations conducted within the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.
The ministry emphasized the ongoing nature of operations in the region. (ILKHA)
