Turkish Coast Guard rescues 38 migrants off Muğla coast
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 38 irregular migrants and apprehended one suspected smuggler off the coast of Muğla province on Sunday.
The Coast Guard received a distress call regarding a disabled sailboat drifting at sea. Upon reaching the vessel, they found migrants attempting to cross to the Greek islands.
All migrants were taken into custody and will be processed by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, following standard procedures.
