Hamas official Talal Nassar joins solidarity march in support of Gaza
Talal Nassar, a key advocate for Palestinian rights, actively participated in a solidarity march held in Bingöl, eastern Türkiye.
The event, organized by local communities, brought together individuals from all walks of life who shared a common goal: standing with the people of Palestine.
Speaking exclusively to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA), Nassar conveyed his heartfelt sentiments and underscored the event’s profound significance.
“We don’t feel like foreigners here,” he remarked, adding: “We are one ummah, one nation. I strongly believe that if the borders were to be opened, these people would flock to Palestine. They genuinely demonstrated concern for the difficult situation in Gaza. May Allah be pleased with them.”
Nassar touched upon the imperialist interventions in the Islamic geography that draw artificial lines between Islamic countries, dividing the ummah. He stated: “We reject the Sykes Picot Map. What we believe is explained in the Qur’an: ‘Surely Allah loves those who fight in His cause in [solid] ranks as if they were one concrete structure.’ The conditions in Gaza are extremely difficult, but still, the Islamic resistance is fighting as if they were one concrete structure.”
He highlighted the high number of casualties in the Zionist conflict and confidently predicted that their losses would continue to increase. Nassar underlined the firm stance of the HAMAS Islamic Resistance Movement against the zionist occupation. “The clear message from our people, Palestine, and HAMAS is that this resistance will persist until the Zionists are completely eradicated and expelled from the region.”
Expressing gratitude for Turkey's continuous support for the Palestinian cause, Nassar shared the expectations of Gazans from all segments of Turkish society. “We expect Turkey to continue aiding the people of Gaza and Palestine, as it has done so far. We demand that such an honorable title as Turkish citizenship not be granted to the Zionists, who are the worst people in the world, and we want those who have been granted it to be revoked. Thus, we demand prevention of these Zionists from going to Gaza and committing genocide,” Nassar concluded. (ILKHA)
