NATO foreign convene in Prague for two-day meeting
Prague is hosting a two-day informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers on Thursday and Friday, marking the most significant NATO event in Czechia in over two decades.
The meeting comes ahead of a NATO summit scheduled for July in Washington and is primarily focused on addressing the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The event coincides with the 25th anniversary of Czechia's accession to NATO and the 75th anniversary of the alliance's founding. A series of bilateral meetings are also taking place on the sidelines, including discussions between senior Czech politicians and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
This gathering provides an opportunity for NATO members to discuss and coordinate their responses to the conflict in Ukraine, as well as to strengthen alliances and partnerships within the organization. (ILKHA)
