World Assembly of Islamic Awakening condemns Israeli massacre in Rafah
The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on Rafah, which resulted in the deaths of over 45 civilians, including women and children, according to a report by Iran’s official news agency IRNA.
In a statement, the Assembly emphasized the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of oppression, asserting that the massacre in Rafah, as part of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, reflects the desperation and helplessness of the Israeli regime before the steadfastness of Gazans.
The statement also criticized the United States and certain Western governments for their role in facilitating and supporting the Israeli war machine, describing it as an unprecedented transgression that cannot be forgiven or overlooked.
Despite international condemnation and a ruling by the International Court of Justice, the Israeli regime has continued its bombardment of the southern Gaza city, targeting designated safe zones, including tent encampments where desperate civilian Gazans, primarily women and children, seek refuge.
