According to local reports, seven individuals were killed and several others wounded in Rafah as a result of artillery shelling directed at tents housing displaced persons near the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) in the Tal Al-Sultan area, northwest of the city.

Additionally, one civilian was killed and another injured in Rafah when residential apartments were struck by Israeli airstrikes. Homes in various areas of the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood also came under attack.

In Rafah, the vicinity of Zo'rob roundabout experienced heavy bombardment from Israeli tanks, accompanied by gunfire and the presence of Israeli drones in the air.

As the violence escalated, families in Rafah began fleeing towards safer areas in Khan Yunis and the central Strip, particularly west of Deir al-Balah, to escape missile strikes.

Israeli military vehicles advanced near the Zoroub roundabout, targeting the Indonesian Hospital building with artillery shells. Excavations were also reported in the Zo'rob cemetery, with ongoing shooting and shelling.

Meanwhile, in Gaza City, three civilians were killed and several others injured when an Israeli airstrike targeted a house owned by the Al-Ghussein family in the Bani Amer area of Al-Daraj neighborhood. The Netzarim axis saw Israeli vehicles firing dozens of shells into various Gaza neighborhoods.

Further casualties occurred when an Israeli warplane bombed a house owned by the Aqel family in Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation's aggression against Gaza has persisted since October 7th, resulting in a devastating toll on civilians. To date, the conflict has claimed the lives of 36,050 individuals, predominantly children and women, with 81,026 others injured. Many remain trapped under rubble as the violence continues unabated.
