The ICJ ordered israel to immediately halt its military operations in Rafah and emphasized the necessity of keeping the Rafah border crossing with Egypt open for humanitarian aid.

In defiance of the court's orders, Israeli forces have intensified their aggression, resulting in casualties, injuries, and significant destruction to civilian properties. The Karm Abu Salem crossing remains closed, preventing the entry of essential supplies.

Medical sources report that patients and wounded individuals have been unable to leave the Gaza Strip since the Israeli army occupied the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing. Displaced people in Gaza face dire conditions due to ongoing airstrikes and shortages of vital supplies.

Approximately 800,000 people in Rafah have been forced to flee since the ground assault began on October 27 last year. Citizens were ordered by the Israeli occupation army to move from northern and central parts of the Strip to the south, claiming it as a "safe zone." (ILKHA)
