His statements came during a tribute ceremony for the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and other companions in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh).

Addressing Iran's adversaries, Nasrallah declared: “Deluded are all those who wait for Iran to weaken or to abandon the resistance groups in the region.” He assured that the passing of President Raisi and his companions would not alter the Islamic Republic's policies.

Nasrallah responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s threats by asserting Hezbollah's readiness for surprises. He emphasized that resistance groups in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen have continually surprised the Israeli enemy since the start of the war following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023.

He warned Netanyahu that continuing the war in Gaza would lead to catastrophe, mocking Israeli ministers’ calls for controlling south Lebanon, questioning whether the Israeli army had managed to control Gaza first.

Nasrallah began his speech by addressing the tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the deaths of President Raisi and his companions, describing it as a “painful incident.” He noted that celebrations for Resistance and Liberation Day were canceled in their honor.

He praised Raisi as a role model, highlighting his contributions as Chairman of Astan Quds Razavi, Head of the Judiciary, and President of Iran. Nasrallah lauded Raisi's commitment to the Palestinian cause and the resistance, despite economic challenges and sanctions imposed on Iran.

Nasrallah also paid tribute to late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, commending his love for Palestine, Lebanon, and all resistance groups in the region.

Nasrallah remarked on the unprecedented mass turnout for the funeral of Raisi and his companions, calling it the third-largest funeral in modern history after those of Imam Khomeini and martyr Qassem Suleimani. He stated that the turnout demonstrated loyalty to Imam Khamenei's path and affirmed Iran's strength and cohesion.

Discussing Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Nasrallah noted that the Zionist entity faces unprecedented international shifts, including moves by European countries to recognize the Palestinian state and arrest warrants issued by the ICC against Israeli leaders. He highlighted that both Israeli opposition and government officials acknowledge the failure of the war on Gaza, now in its eighth month.

Nasrallah addressed Netanyahu directly, asserting that resistance groups are prepared for surprises. He highlighted the ongoing efforts and readiness of resistance groups in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen, emphasizing that the front in south Lebanon would remain open in support of Gaza.

He ridiculed Israeli ministers’ calls for an invasion of south Lebanon, questioning their capability given the situation in Gaza, and reiterated the steadfast objectives and clear stances of the resistance.

Nasrallah concluded by emphasizing that the resistance would not be deceived by Israeli tactics and remains committed to its goals, ready to respond to any aggression. (ILKHA)
