Mehmet Yıldırım, codenamed Sofi, was listed in the "gray category" on the Interior Ministry's wanted list, indicating a dangerous individual. Yerlikaya said on social media that Yıldırım was responsible for six attacks that resulted in the deaths of eight security officers and one civilian, while injuring another eight security personnel and ten civilians.
