HAMAS official declares Hasan Saklanan a heroic martyr of Al Aqsa Flood
During the funeral ceremony of Hasan Saklanan, who was martyred in Jerusalem, HAMAS official Majid Abu Hassan hailed him as one of the heroic martyrs of the Operation Al Aqsa Flood.
"We consider our brother Hassan as one of the heroic martyrs of the Aqsa Flood that was ignited on the morning of October 7. We are proud of him and we believe that his glory will rise every day,” he stated.
Abu Hassan, addressing the media, extended condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr. He emphasized that Hassan's actions were in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian civilians, particularly women and children, who are under threat.
"We see Shahid Hassan's action as an act of protection for Gazan women and children," Abu Hassan said. "As the Palestinian people, we regard this event as heroism. We see this as an act of protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian and Gazan women and children who are being slaughtered unconsciously and senselessly, and we are proud of our brother Hassan."
He continued: "We believe that the blood of Shahid Hassan is mixed with the blood of the martyred mujahideen in Palestine and Gaza and the West Bank. This mixed blood will clearly lead us to a clear victory over the Jewish war and will lead us to that victory."
Abu Hassan stressed that Saklanan's sacrifice exemplified the spirit of Palestinian resistance. He further expressed gratitude for the support shown by people in Türkiye and across the world, stating, "Our brother Hasan stood by the Palestinian struggle, he stood upright like the Palestinians in a glorious resistance like the Palestinians and sacrificed his life in this way to support them."
In elaborating on the significance of Hassan's martyrdom, Abu Hassan recounted the ongoing struggle of Palestinians against the oppressive occupation. He emphasized the symbolic weight of Hassan's actions, not only in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque but also in representing the broader resistance against Israeli aggression.
Abu Hassan also underscored the global solidarity with the Palestinian cause, noting the outpouring of support from individuals and organizations worldwide. He reiterated the importance of international recognition and condemnation of Israeli atrocities, urging the global community to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Furthermore, Abu Hassan called attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the urgent need for international intervention to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian civilians. He urged world leaders to take concrete actions to end the blockade on Gaza and provide essential humanitarian aid to those in need.
The funeral ceremony, attended by members of HAMAS and supporters of the Palestinian cause, served as a solemn tribute to Hassan's bravery and sacrifice. It also served as a rallying cry for continued resistance against Israeli oppression and injustice in Palestine. (ILKHA)
