Turkish consumer confidence slightly rises to 80.51 in May
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced on Thursday that the consumer confidence index has increased marginally to 80.51 in May.
This index, derived from the consumer tendency survey conducted jointly by TurkStat and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, showed a slight improvement of 0.1% from April's figure of 80.46.
The consumer confidence index is a crucial indicator that reflects the overall sentiment of consumers regarding economic conditions and their financial expectations. This slight rise suggests a modest improvement in consumer outlook as measured by the survey. (ILKHA)
