Jabarin's death followed a severe bullet injury sustained during the violent clashes on Wednesday.

Among the 12 martyrs are four children, a teacher, and a doctor, according to medical sources. The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that three teenagers—Sami al-Qaisi, 18, Mahmoud Qarini, 16, and Wasim Jaradat, 15—were killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) gunfire on Wednesday evening.

The Israeli military campaign, which began on Tuesday morning, left 24 other Palestinians injured, four of them critically. This violence is part of a broader conflict, with the Palestinian Health Ministry noting that 517 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the escalation of hostilities on October 7, 2023.

Renewed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli forces were reported early Thursday in Jenin. During the conflict, Israeli forces besieged journalists inside the Cinema Hotel in Jenin, opening fire and demolishing the hotel's guard room, resulting in one employee being injured.

Local sources described widespread destruction of public and private property during the IOF's operation in Jenin. However, the Israeli army withdrew its forces from the city and its refugee camp at dawn on Thursday after a two-day campaign.

Following the withdrawal, hundreds of displaced families began returning to Jenin to assess the damage to their homes and property. The situation remains tense as the community deals with the aftermath of the violence. (ILKHA)
