Hope Caravan Foundation urges philanthropists to donate for Eid al-Adha
As Eid al-Adha approaches, the Hope Caravan Foundation in Batman, Türkiye, is calling on charitable individuals to donate sacrificial animals.
This important Islamic festival is a time for families to come together and celebrate, but for many, affording the traditional red meat sacrifice is simply impossible.
The Hope Caravan Foundation bridges the gap by collecting donations and distributing sacrificial meat to families in need. Nurettin Teymur, the foundation's head, emphasizes the importance of remembering those less fortunate during this joyous occasion.
"Eid al-Adha is a time for giving," Teymur says. "The Hope Caravan has extensive experience ensuring hygienic slaughter and distribution of sacrificial meat. We work tirelessly to connect philanthropists with families who wouldn't otherwise be able to celebrate."
Every Donation Makes a Difference
The foundation offers various donation options, with share prices reflecting regional variations:
* Africa: 3,250 TRY
* Yemen: 4,500 TRY
* Asia: 3,750 TRY
* Afghanistan: 4,500 TRY
* Turkey: 12,000 TRY
* Gaza, Palestine: 26,000 TRY (Due to the ongoing crisis, sacrificial animal prices are particularly high in Gaza.)
Teymur acknowledges the ongoing need. "Despite our efforts to distribute meat to thousands of families each year, the demand remains significant," he explains. "There are families who never have red meat on their tables. By donating through the Hope Caravan, you can bring hope to orphans and families struggling financially."
