Al-Qassam Brigades kill 15 israeli soldiers in Rafah
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, HAMAS, announced on its Telegram channel that it had neutralized 15 israeli soldiers in a special operation in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to the statement, the operation involved targeting a house fortified with a large number of soldiers using a Ra’adiyah (thunder) anti-personnel explosive. The explosion reportedly resulted in the death or injury of at least 15 soldiers. Following the explosion, resistant fighters launched an assault on the house, engaging in close combat with the remaining troops using light machine guns and hand grenades.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced to have targeted a “Merkava 4” tank with a “Yasin 105” rocket in the Al-Tannour neighbourhood, located east of Rafah city. Additionally, the group stated that its fighters fired a SAM-7 missile towards an Apache helicopter north of the Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
In a separate statement, Abu Obeida, the military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, said that the Resistance has struck over 100 Israeli military vehicles in the past 10 days. He highlighted the capacity for resistance and combat of Al-Qassam Brigades and reiterated that the resistance is prepared for “a long war of attrition.”
Footage aired by Al-Qassam yesterday depicted its operations against the Israeli military, which included a sniper attack aimed at an Israeli soldier stationed on the frontline, east of Jabaliya city. The footage showed three soldiers on the roof of a building, with one being targeted and falling while the other two attempted to deploy equipment and gear before fleeing. (ILKHA)
